Kim Soo-Jin

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of psychodrama on emotional intelligence and empathic ability of participants. This study was conducted on 10 women who voluntarily participated in a psychodrama program. This study used the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS) and Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), which were developed to measure emotional intelligence before and after using psychodrama, As a result, there was a statistically significant difference in emotional intelligence, and there was no significant difference in empathic ability. However, there was a significant increase in perspective taking and empathic concern among sub-factors of empathic ability. These results show that psychodrama is an effective method to improve emotional intelligence and empathic ability.
